Music Ministry
The Music Ministry at the Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary is directed by Monica (Koinonia John the Baptist). In conjunction with the Pastor Fr. Claudio Antecini and all the community we seek to enthusiastically praise the Lord and to minister to the congregation and visitors. Many of the liturgical songs used within our celebrations have been written for the liturgy by Sr. Máire, so bringing a new freshness to all our celebrations.
The Choirs
St. Augustine reminds us when we sing we pray twice so why not join us to sing a new song of praise? Come along and join our ever-growing Spanish choir that sings at the 10.00am Mass every Sunday or our English group who sing for the 12.30 celebration on Sunday afternoon.

Koinonic Sonic is the official brand name of the music ministry team of praise and worship for this catholic evangelizing community of Koinonia John the Baptist in New York. To date Sr. Máire Close has recorded on this label 3 albums, all her own music, “For His Glory” in 2013 in Los Angeles, “In The Current” in 2017 in New York and she released in November 2018 her Spanish CD “Voy A Cantar”.
